The Gallery By The River

The Gallery By The River opens each summer with an exhibition of work by specially invited international and national artists.

Located an hour away from Annapolis and an hour and a half from Washington DC and Baltimore, The Gallery is a popular attraction for visitors crossing the Tred Avon River via the Oxford-Bellevue Ferry. Visitors traveling by car or bicycle stop by to enjoy the unusual and varied presentation of high quality work in textile, sculpture in various media, art glass, small paintings and drawings and jewelry.Visitors are also welcome to visit the Contemporary Tapestry Weaving Studio where large-scale tapestries are woven on a 14ft. wide vertical loom.

The Gallery is now closed for the season; information on the new 2012 exhibition will be posted on this page in May 2012.
